A WA woman is offering a whopping $20,000 reward to the person who returns her two beloved huskies.

Penny Bourne said she believed her dogs Odin and Teak were taken from her backyard in Mandurah, south of Perth, on Friday, July 5.

Ms Bourne told ninemsn she saw a white van slowly drive past on the day the dogs disappeared and she later found the collar belonging to her black female husky, Teak, on the ground at the back of her house.

The collar belonging to Odin, her red and white male dog, turned up on the side of the road near their home five days later.

"[Teak] is really cheeky but she's never, ever slipped her collar and it would probably hurt her because it was quite tight," Ms Bourne said.

She feared for the safety of her pets after receiving a suspicious call following their disappearance.

"I had a private phone call saying 'We've found two huskies' and then the phone went dead and I never heard from them again," Ms Bourne said.

Ms Bourne is so desperate for the return of her huskies, which cost $750 each, she has placed ads on Gumtree and Facebook offering to buy them back for $20,000.

She told ninemsn she hoped whoever had the dogs would realise they would not get a better offer for them.

"These are alive, they've got feelings, and the torture that you think might have been happening to them, it's a nightmare," an emotional Ms Bourne said.

"Odin is such a softie, he gets dominated by the cat, and you hear of those bait dogs where they tie their mouths up and tie them to a tree (for an attack dog to practice on) and he would be dead by now, his heart would have stopped."

Both the dogs are microchipped, desexed and registered.

I truly feel for her. It is devasting not knowing what happened to her beautiful dogs!

When our cocky flew away the first time, I thought I would never forgive myself and the pain of not knowing if he was ok, would torture me.

I hope she has some news soon.
