persephone Posted July 25, 2013 Author Share Posted July 25, 2013 Apparently some years ago this gorgeous girl was found , very timid, dehydrated, feet blistered and burned , standing on a hot bitumen road in Summer , well away from anywhere .. a couple stopped and immediately took her to a service station , wet her down , gave her drinks , and then vet treatment ... no owner was found at that time, tho later her story was discovered. Suffice to say, it's a good thing she was dumped.. She is now an older grey muzzled girl , very much loved and has become accepting, but never effusive or confident around people . She will hardly let her 'dad' out of sight... loves rounding up the poultry , snoozing on the lawn in the sun , and playing in/around boats :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
