Importing A Dog From Germany

I can't recommend Wayrod from here highly enough for importing.

As for ages he will be able to give you the exact details but the youngest age is around 9 months of age as the pup can't have its final vaccinations until around 3 months and then has to wait 6 months before it can fly to Australia (okay, it can leave earlier but it spends all that 6 months in quarantine here). Obviously it is a lot more high tech than that  but the calculations I did when looking into it said 9 months. I opted to import an adult instead - same time limits but I knew what I was getting.

Better to wait 12 months and get a dog at least has been hip and elbow scored first. Considering the cost it would be devastating to find your $10,000 import had bad hips or elbows after it gets here.

Easier still is to import semen but even then there are no guarantees with what you will get.
