Home Cooked Style Food - Where To Buy?

Recommended Posts

After spending what seemed like most of the weekend cooking up food for Louis, I'm wondering if anyone sells this sort of 'home cooked' diet online anywhere?

His current mix consists of beef heart, kidneys, roo and lamb meat and rib bones that have been pressure cooked until very soft and then crushed up. I also add sweet potato or squash and a 'green' mix of blitzed up veg. He also gets a 'health boost' supplement and yoghurt.

After having fed nothing but raw for years, it's killing me to cook the meat, let alone even think of feeding him kibble, so wondered what the alternatives were before doing this again in a few weeks.

The reason for this diet is he has IMHA and I have been advised not to feed him raw at the moment while he is immune compromised :(

Oh good, I hope it is suitable for Louis. The ingredient list looks pretty good.

I agree that Ziwipeak is a good food Alibi but I think it's still a raw product? The canned Ziwipeak is moist 'raw' food and the dry food is raw and air-dried. :)

Just wanted to thank you again for letting me know about this food trinabean, I picked some up yesterday and it seems very nice :) It smells and looks great and the dogs love it :D it's not cheap! but luckily it's really only for Louis, Daisy will be sticking to the raw.

Oh good, I hope it is suitable for Louis. The friend who recommended it feeds it to her poodle and is really happy with the quality. No, it's certainly not cheap, but it seems like a good product and it will hopefully save you some work. smile.gif
