GeckoTree
Does anyone know where I can buy this from? I was getting it from Centreforce but they have shut down production.

Alyosha
Black Salve is not registered by the TGA or APVMA. Any supply of it for human or animal use is an offence. It's toxic, corrosive and dangerous. Why anyone would subject their animals to such dangerous things is beyond me. http://www.tga.gov.au/consumers/information-salve-cansema.htm edit - add link. Every Greyhound
I've had friends try this with their animals when they've had no other option/alternative...with great results! http://www.blacksalve.org.au/
Andrea
Yep, great results here too! the salve only affects the bad area, now depending on how badly affected the area is as to how much will be effected. IYKWIM The salve has no effect on good skin, so the corrosive issue doesnt wash with me.

_PL_
Do you mean Ichthammol (Black Ointment) drawing ointment or Black Salve the dodgy skin cancer cure? Very different and as far as I know the salve has a lot of critics re scarring and skin corrosion but I don't know much about it other than that. Alyosha
The dodgy skin cancer (and other cancers) cure. It has herbs in it like Cansema and Bloodroot. But it also usually contains the toxic chemicals DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) and Zinc Chloride. And if they are natural remedies then I'm a small furry mammal. That is why it's illegal. Not because it's suppressing some miracle cure, but because some chumps without scientific basis have added corrosive chemicals to "allow the herbs to penetrate"... Nasty. Boronia
Maybe you could use Chickweed Stellaria media instead. This is what it looks like (Google Images) https://www.google.com.au/search?q=Stellaria+media&client=ubuntu&hs=BSa&channel=fs&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=My66UbjkA4GGiQez04GwCA&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1024&bih=582 It works on cancers

But I think when they are talking about this other stuff, I think they are referring to something that burns skin cancers off. Chickweed will not do that but radium weed which looks very similar will. :)

GeckoTree
Thanks for the link EG seems I have to get it from overseas now or make my own somehow. Re the radium weed TGA just approved a topical application recently called Picato and is around $90 for a 5g tube at the chemist on script! The immune response set up works exactly the same way as the salve but a bit more milder though. Thanks peoples. I will check out the chickweed as well. Jed
Have you tried googling "cansema"? and .... http://www.bevanpotter.com/cansinstruct.html TGA has stopped it being sold for human use in Aus. Edited June 19, 2013 by Jed
GeckoTree
Hi Jed that's who I was getting it through as well as the herbal tonics, the TGA has shut him down. I know where to go now anyhow. Thanks.
raelph
I have read the above posts. Those persons who say negative things about the use of Black salve on dogs , cats, horses, AND people really need to do some research. I really get sick and tired of reading those who say we are crazy to use this product on our pets and ourselves. I have 2 cousins who have saved themselves thousands of dollars by mixing their own black salve (the reciped is available online) and using it on their scalp, face, arms etc. Wonderful stuff. Anyone who says they are crazy...well, it is them that are crazy not to get some truthful info. There were some posts on another forum recently. I agree , perhaps using the product with the aid of a vet who understands and has used it themselves would have been a preferential idea.
