ruthless
Sometimes I take Jackson's bedding out of his crate to straighten it up and tuck it all back in and I find the tray is wet and so is the underside of his crate mat. I thought the phantom bed wetter [Angel!] was to blame, but we keep them closed when not in use so I was quite stumped. I'm 99% sure that Jackson isn't peeing in there. Could it be condensation build up? The room they're in does get condensation on the windows, but I've never noticed it on the crate trays before. The Spotted Devil
I line my dog crates with thick newspaper to counter condensation - crates are indoors but we turn the heating down at night and it can get chilly and damp. You will be able to tell if that is the problem as the newspaper may be damp but the bedding will be dry.
Kirislin
Yep, I'd agree with condensation. When Penny had her puppies I slept in the room with her for the first week or so on a little foam mattress directly on a lino floor. I was very surprised to see how wet it was underneath, and I definitely didn't wet the bed.
