Trisven13
She is about a week off and growing ever larger  . Fingers crossed she will free-whelp this time as she did last time.
WreckitWhippet
They settled very quickly and they are very active and can find a boob from anywhere in the box. Fingers crossed they are going to be a repeat of the last dream litter and I'll be sleeping in my own bed tonight.

Kirislin
Monteba, thanks for updating "my" litter, but it's not really mine, although you cannot be blamed for thinking it is, it's a Mellick litter (Roskyle bitch) and they're Italian Greyhounds not whippets. mollipop
Our Golden litter was born on the 13th. 4 girls an 3 boys. They were all between 480 and 520 gms, so big strong bubs. All doing well and weighed around 750gm yesterday at lunch time. 2 hours later I found a little girl dead in the whelping box. She was still warm so gave her mouth to mouth, cardiac massage and a drop of brandy but couldn't get her back. Such a shock. I'm feeling your pain, Trisvin. So sorry mollipop - there is something about finding them still warm but so obviously gone.

WreckitWhippet
Tris can you make them stay looking like that ? LOL Kind of Terrier, meets Dogue meets Beagle
Trisven13
LOL sadly no they end up looking like Fauves, though hopefully a fair number of these will look like my new boy, their father, who IMHO is stunning!
sandgrubber
Lovely looking pups, Tristven. I presume they squeak and purr and occasionally squeak at night. Apart from color, it's surprising how much alike little Fauves and little Labs look. Here are mine at 10 days
Trisven13
Yeah they can be noisy little turds at night. And of course today Marie has decided that it is time for her to have her litter but she wants to have hers on my lounge.... argh...
