If you are after a show dog, these are not what you are wanting! Miles away from any standard I'm aware off... Sadly they are going into frenchies too..gee I wonder why, could it be the price puppies bring??? Wonder if the benders of those young dogs are aware they are part of this mill now? They started out through Adonis kennels which says it all. You can try showing him if he's not built like a tank but if he's too far out of the breed standard don't be expecting a win. I didn't look at the link but I expect it's full of massively oversized bulked up muscle dogs in all sorts of *powerful* poses and photographed at mass boosting angles with lots of chains & fire & shit in the background??? Places like Adonis are the sort of places that make me not renew my state body membership. While they wont crack down on outfits like this they make my membership a joke. Pretty sure one of the things members agree to abide by when signing up is 'to only breed for the improvement of the breed' or some such similar statement. And I can only conclude that that would refer to the improvement of the breed within the registered breed standard? In the journal month after month numerous litters from the same kennels, often several with the same sire and not a champion to be seen anywhere. SinAmstaff Posted June 22, 2013 Author Share Posted June 22, 2013 I'd like to become a registered breeder someday, and ill be breeding to the breed standard, and creating beautiful pets for families, you know, trying to change people perceptions of our breed. Calling your kennel "brutal bullies" and giving them names like warrior ,preditor, obsession etc etc only attracts the wrong crowd of owners,/buyers wanting dogs that look "tough" and those sorts of owners probably aren't responsible. I started showing my first amstaff at 2 years of age and she picked it up very fast even though I was also learning at the same time, but I had an awesome show mentor to guide me along which helped a lot! There are a lot of nice people around the shows that will help you out with anything you need to know. I suggest you go to a few shows beforehand and sit back and watch the judging and what is expected of you and the dog in the ring etc, take your dog to some classes if possible, make sure it is socialised and use to being in environments like the dog show and go from there.
