Melina Bea
I'm guessing it's kinda like the puppy version of little kids (boys) showing off their new 'toy' at all the wrong times and constantly having their hands in their pants. Haha. My nephew would go the extra mile and BEG everyone to PLAY with it!!! At least he's a boy. I always feel slightly confused/disturbed when female dogs hump lol my dad's female jack Russell humps pillows......... Without getting into too much detail... To me it makes even MORE sense for females to do it Ok ok, thinking about dog anatomy that makes no sense......
RiverStar-Aura
I bought my two dogs a jumbo (and I mean around 2 metres in length) teddy bear and whilst Kirah loves to try and kill it, Zeus humps it. It's the only toy I've seen him go at, and I'm willing to bet its size has something to do with it. He's never tried humping anything else so I let him go. This is the first boy dog I've had and he hasn't done it yet.
Justrace
Murphy used to only hump the teddy that he came from the breeder with. He killed it so now he hump his sheep skin, but only if he drags it out of his crate.

Guest donatella
My mums dog has a blue rabbit affectionately named 'humpy bunny'. He is 5 years old and had the innards rooted out of him but its his little sex toy.

moosepup
Zoe humped both Moose and Nacho the first couple of days he was here. She's 14, plenty of life in the old gal yet.
MsKatie
My mum and dads terrier had a really bad habit of sneaking up and humping your arm if you had it hanging down over the arm of the chair - until the day he tried it with my cousin who had a lit cigarette in his hand no major injuries thank goodness but a very wary terrier
