Shakti
Hi all, I need to get two Maltese puppies from Dubbo to Melbourne in the next couple of weeks. Can anyone please advise what company (if any) they would use or if they know of a better alternative? Cost is obviously a factor but I am more concerned that the pups have a pleasant and safe journey.
Affirmation
Having used Jet Pets on numerous occasions, I have to say that I'm more than happy to recommend them. They work with you every step of the way and communication has never been a issue during the trip. I'm located near Orange and have sent & received Frenchie pups to Nth Qld and received our Iggy from SA with zero hiccups. It can't hurt to give them a call to see whats involved etc :)
mixeduppup
Dog movers and GTE transport are fantastic for central west and vic transport. I've used them numerous times and very affordable as well. Edited May 16, 2013 by mixeduppup
kelpiecuddles
We've done interstate travel with JetPets too and found them good.
Everythings Shiny
Dog movers have done runs for me previously and I've never had a complaint.
Crisovar
I'd be hesitant to use any road transport that also transports unquarantined pound animals. So ask questions first. Flying would be my first choice.
Shakti
Thank you all so much - will be following up your suggestions and making sure to ask the right questions!
wayrod
Flight is normally Dubbo/Sydney/Melbourne and can be undertaken in a matter of a few hours. Bookings should be made a couple of days in advance. Depending on age and weight of puppies they may be able to travel in the same container, helping to keep costs down.
