Just wondering if anyone can give me a rough idea of cost for this? And can all vets do it or should I ring around to ask first?

You need the blood spun down - not all vets can do that. My vet - monash vets. - arranged everything including the courier and the paperwork. If your vet doesn't do this then you need to organize everything yourself. If you need the forms then PM erny.

I think it cost me about $270 about 2 years ago (could have the number completely wrong).

It cost me a $154 and some cents. That was the total price I paid for a T5.

The vet arranged everything.

All I had to do was turn up at the vets with the dog. :)

My Vet draws the blood and spins it down. It is the "serum" that you ship, not the red blood cells.

I take the serum over to the nearest FedEx drop-off point and send it to Dr Jean Dodds from there.

Takes about 3 days to arrive at its destination and I usually have test results just inside a week from the date of original dispatch.

FedEx International Courier cost was about $70 - $80.00 (from Victoria)

There's your Vet's standard consult fee for drawing the bloods and spinning down (mine was around $55, I think).

Then there's Dr Jean Dodd's fee which is $85.00 USA
