My beloved Golden Retriever of 11 years passed away last month and I was wondering if anyone knows how I could find out how to dog sit a Lab/Golden no fee I just want to have my doggy fix but cannot get another dog full time at this point. I looked into Guide dog boarding with no luck as yet but boarding a dog part time would be excellent. OR if anyone knows of someone who needs dogsitting for that breed or alternatively how I could access/let my services be known I have the yard and the time and skills (I bred my bitch, 2 litters). thanks...... I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how hard it is.

Perhaps there is a golden/lab rescue in your area that needs foster carers?

So sorry about the loss of your lovely dog. I'm sure that your house is in need of a wagging tail and a doggie smile.

Google Don't Fret Pet - they are a pet sitting service that arrange for dogs to be minded in a person's home. Maybe becoming a pet minder for them would be an option? We use them for our Labrador here in Canberra (very happy with the service and the quality of minders).

You could see if there's a GR Rescue in Adelaide. Most rescue groups need temp care at some point.

There's a GRR in NSW and in QLD and I'm sure there'd be one in other states - I love them!
