Earlier this morning a man stopped for a pig wandering on the side of the road, very friendly and was even able to feed it! Tried to get someone to help, Council could not pick up an animal other than a cat or a dog and apparently the RSPCA has no responsibility or capacity to pick up uninjured animals (?!). The AWL stepped up on this one and picked up the pig and are waiting on it's owner to come forward. Pretty Pig but sad that that the took so long for someone to do something about it!
