kja
Oh how I adore, Thee. Why do I let thou languish in the box so often? Babysat two fabulous doggies today while their owners went out on the ocean. I had good intentions of working, but spent most of my time playing and shooting instead. Nala & Pinto (image on left is with the 135L, also dreamy, but too long for today!) Lobo Doesn't Tilly look even more pathetic for being out of the depth of field? tlc
How timely! I just got mine today, can't wait to use it in the light of day! This one was at iso 1000, the FF still blows me away with the low light capabilities! even at 3200 the pictures have no noise viewed normally and a bit viewed at 100% it's crazy! tlc
Oh crap that looks so much sharper on my computer, it looks pretty crappy on facey too! Anyway cant wait to try it out in daylight hours and learn to use my speedlight too. I was trying to find the 85mm thread the other day but couldn't. Is your the Canon or sigma? kja
Canon version, 1.4. It's so yummy :)
tlc
It looks it, I found the old thread and was just going through that, its funny when you read back things you have said and you have ended up doing something totally different! Maybe we should make them the new 85mm thread!
kja
Whoops, it's a 1.8, not 1.4. Blame my brain and the multiple beers I've had today LOL But I do adore this lens - even more than the 1.2 85mm that I've played with.
huga
I love my 85mm too, it's beautiful! The 50mm is a more practical length for indoors though, so that's what gets used more.
