MYSQL
I've had a puppy buyer contact me because she believes her pup has come into season already, the puppy in question is 4 months old ! I've never had a bitch come into season this early infact none of mine have come in before 9 months. So my question is how early is the earliest you have had a bitch come into season? The puppy owner has had her at the vet & the vet is a bit confused as to what is going on. Thanks for any replies !
DeltaCharlie
One of the bitches here came in at 5 months. The others have all been 12-14 months :)

becks
are they sure it is a season and not a bladder infection?
ellz
are they sure it is a season and not a bladder infection? This. Bladder infections can also produce blood and a lovely aroma that drives the boys wild.

MYSQL
Thanks for the replies, the puppy is going back to the vet again today, they are treating her for a bladder infection as well ;-) but the vet is confused as to if she is also in season. becks
swollen vuvla and nipple development should be a couple of hints. If vet is so confused, why not test hormone levles?
