redangel
A friend of mine has just decided to keep a foster...a Mal X husky. It has a wonderful temperament & they are keen to know the best tools for the job when grooming, especially when the shedding season happens (as opposed to the smaller fur flying daily!) A table to groom on, a groomer's arm, and a groomer's blast dryer!!!
Vehs
I second the dryer part! but for a regular owner a rake or double rake will do the trick.
becks
wide tooth comb and one of those bending slickers for working on any knots before going through with a rake. knowing how to section groom so the dog gets groomed from the roots to tip, not just brush skimming over the top

War Consigliere
Again on the two-row rake, but if you can train the dog not to respond to the vacuum (hard, but not impossible), going over them with the Dyson grooming tool after the raking will save you a remarkable amount of time otherwise occupied with the vacuum.
