Ptolomy
Ptolomy I just watched yours and Scootas rally o clip. The way he focuses on you its amazing. How did you get your dogs to heel like that? Thank you - all my kids heel like this but Scoota is extra special It doesn't happen over night but they start from 8 weeks of age being rewarded for looking at me and they very quickly learn that heel position is the bestest place in the entire world for them to be. whitka
That's what I've been doing to since starting back into training. Hopefully one day my little guy will be able to heel like Scoota
ness
Brag time for miss Kenz. Having not been in the Rally obedience ring since April we decided today to try for our final RA pass and she cruised through to her title. Given her life has been turned completely upside down with Ness moving to my parents place after she ruptured her cruciate less then a fortnight ago I was so proud of my baby girl. Ness has always played support crew for much of Kenz's training and trialling. I am also more then a little preoccupied with Ness and pending surgery so for Kenz to come out firing and then some was something very special. She has a heart of gold for all of her physical and mental issues she has had to work through. Other than a somewhat new inventive jumping over the sign rather than taking the bar jump she hardly put a paw wrong. Well done my little girl. Just wish your big sis was home so she could share in the customary title maccas mcbites - maybe that can be Thursday afternoons pre-surgery treat. ness
Hmm we just don't talk about it JulesP. Specialist was happy enough for her to try and get on with life and that is what we have been trying to do. She has good days and bad days and her bigger problem is still the exercise induced collapse risk. I just asked nicely that she was scheduled early and took a chance. Rally is probably the limit of what she can do and we don't really train much these days. She had finished off two legs at the States with no training so thought we would try for the third. Ptolomy
Well done Ness and Kenzie - great news that she could get out there today and have a go - and a terrific score too.
Ptolomy
The stud dog can now add HWM (s) after his name after he passed two trials at the Perth Royal Show today. Good boy Strauss Mouse - hmmm well not so good boy -after he helped himself to to music CD and promptly chomped them into little pieces - causing me to do a mercy dash home to make another CD. Scoota also won both HWM intermediate trials. The dancing shoes are now being put back in the cupboard for a few more months
ness
Thanks Ptolomy she was a good little girl. Well done to stud dog and Moo - so much for the hadn't trained them and they weren't going to pass . Note to self for future DWD competitions make sure you always take two copies of the music or feed the stud dog more or find music he doesn't think he has to eat . xena98
Congratulations Ptolomy and the red crews. Have to say you did look cute Ness and Kenzie Congratulations on your pass today and do have to say that was a cracker of a jump in line with Gabby's brother attempt at that jump lol My brag for today is both of my girls got there advance titles Gabby got 100 first place and her title and the arvo 99 and first place. Inka got 95 in the morning and the arvo got 98 and second place. The best bit was that I managed to not stuff up and read the signs correctly and not losing any points for my dogs lol
ness
 well done Xena - always a bonus not to stuff up and misread any signs. I was proud that I managed to get it right this morning .
ness
Another Rally trial this morning and another Advanced A pass for miss Kenz. Always nice to get the bonus leg and keeps her Rally record qualification rate at 100%. She did very well given it was a judge she isn't keen on and has had problems with. Good little girl :). Tassie
for Ptolomy and the red boys in HTM .... and yes - always have back up music CDs great stuff from your girls, xena98. And big for ness and Miss Kenz. Lovely stuff! And not to be outdone, Kenz's cousin Rory managed to pass his T & S Test 1 with a Very Good, in severe weather warning conditions with 80kmh winds. And he won Track of the Day present from the judge - a nice pack of goodies which included a new toy - tuggy with a ball - which he was very pleased with, and which got a run in agility class this morning. Sayreovi
Jovi and I achieved our 4th excellent agility pass today, only one more to go :/ Not looking forward to masters lol We had a fun, though slightly out of control day where we demolished the courses, to the point a judge was standing there hand over mouth and shaking his head  Luckily we pulled it together for his next course and we got 3rd as well.....then I got lost on the easiest (and last!) part of his next course after doing everything else correctly! LOL That was after getting utterly lost on a masters jumping course. My dog is about to disown me
Tassie
TO - sounds like it was "one of those days" ... but at least you got a nice Q and place along the line. My feral Kirra says she's going to start a "Dogs needing new/younger/smarter handlers society." :D
Dogs4Fun
I am very proud and relived to say my standard poodle finally got his last leg of his UD title on the weekend. Being the only qualifier in his ring on a very hot day, he also took first place. When I was putting his title application in this morning, I noticed he has placed 3 times for his title, so although they may be spread out, he has done them well. I had heaps of fun though and she did too, every time I stuffed up, I swear she was laughing at me as she would stop and come up with her tail wagging  --------- Well done Dogs4Fun! Ptolomy
whoops - sorry I missed all the brags from the weekend - well done Tassie, Xena98, TO and Ness. Dogs4Fun - I haven't seen you in here before - a UD title lots of blood sweat and tears for that one - think its the most frustrating class for having to retrain each of the exercises. Are you going to go onto UDX?
