mixeduppup
My friend has a lab that has been losing hair and showing allergy signs for a while and all the regular tests have turned up negative. So she recently took her to get a full allergy screen done and it has come back that she's highly allergic to moths. She now has to go through desensitizing vaccines to fix it. Now my questions are, what weird allergies does your dog have and she needs suggestions on keeping her dog away from moths.
Sandra777
  Moth eaten dog. That sounds like a really difficult one... how long will it take for the desenitising shots to work? Coming in to winter could make life easier. Have an image of the poor girl walking around with a raid 24 hour insect spray thing on it's head. I suggested flynetting her entire yard or putting dog-safe fly repellent on her but she eats them as well. Not sure, a few months at least. sas
My past dog was allergic to 101 things. It's more odd that your friends dog was only allergic to 1 thing.

Mine is allergic to the pollen of 9 common grass species, house dust mites, storage mites, mosquitos, some flies, and intolerant to a whole bunch of foods. We call Bruno the 'bubble boy.'
