My Fur Nephew

]Hi guys,

Over the long weekend I finally got to babysit my little fur nephew Dex. He is a beautiful 14 week old Border Collie puppy from Harvellie Border Collies. Dex lives in the country with my younger brother and future sister in law but he came to stay with me in the city so we had to give him a little bit of city life socialisation complete with a visit to Cibo coffee for pats with many strangers, the park & street walking with lots of cars, bikes, trucks & people. He

He's a gorgeous little guy but my gosh had I forgotten what baby puppies are like - endless energy and mischief. My lot were none too impressed that he didn't sleep all day and that he was quite happy to jump on top of them while they tried to nap. I'm pretty sure if he ever moved in they would pack their bags and move out :laugh:

Here's some happy snaps from the day (sorry for the crappy phone quality & fingers crossed they don't turn out huge). You'll notice you don't really see my guys in any photos - they decided it was far to risky to get that close to the needle like puppy teeth :laugh:

And steal OH's hat

And hide it in the bed so I can chew it later - he'll never find it here

I can also sit quietly for 30 seconds and chew a bone - nar maybe make it 20 seconds

And look how cute I am sitting all over your furniture

I'm also really good at coming when called and looking super cute

And now just when Mum and Dad come to pick me up I FINALLY fall asleep

I must admit I did let him get away with much more naughty things than I would ever dream of with my own puppy. Looking back on these photos I think next visit I might need to put some rules in place

What a gorgeous puppy nephew you have, & a big boy at that. Just gotta love those border puppies. :)
