I can get it for $5 a kg roll unfrozen, or $20 for 5kg, but it comes frozen which is too big to stay fresh long enough. raffikki Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I have bought roo tails in the past, about 6 per bag, and have left in the fridge over night so only very slightly defrosted and just enough that I can pry them apart to bag up and refreeze. Same with the chicken mince, just enough so I can get my knife through it to repack into smaller portions. Both would be considered still frozen I think. You can order 10 kilos but they come in 1kg frozen blocks or you can order 5 kilo of fresh. I don't know what his delivery charges are as I pick up so may be too expensive but just send Ben an email and get a price sheet. His roo mince is very lean. Tara8430 Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I have that problem with pet mince at lennards it's always frozen into 1 kg lots having one dog that just doesn't work for me but would be much cheaper than buying chicken mince from woolies.
