Panto - face like a pantomime mask, just came to me when I saw her the first time. She does wear herself out to a decent pant though, and people have asked if she is called panto because she pants a lot. no, it's not, but good linking there..!

As I have said in the many other threads on this. My Kenny was one of thirteen pups & wasn't breathing when he was born, so had to give him the shakes & mouth to mouth. He was also the runt of the litter, so his siblings used to push him aside so he couldn't feed. So I named him Kenny after the South Park character.

My ex and I had a car theme going.

So we had a Doberman rescue that came with the name of Koda and we changed it to Koni after the suspension.

Brembo the lab x staffy RSPCA mutt is named after Brembo brakes.

Sierra the Rhodesian Ridgeback was named after the Ford Sierra Cosworth. Her registered name is Honeycreek Lady Cosworth, call name Sierra.

Any future pets of mine will be named after book characters or song/band names.

My beautiful cocker spaniel girl who passed away three weeks ago, was called Brianna after a character in the Diana Gabaldon 'Outlander' book series. Brianna was a beautiful redhead, which is exactly what my gorgeous girl was. :)

Her breeder had a granddaughter named Brianna so she was delighted we chose the name and she then used it as her registered name, so she was Brightleaf Brianna. I loved her name, it was so pretty, just like her.

We also called her Annie, Anniebelle and Annie-dog. Our birds are still calling out Annie!!

Baylee (Rottisliebe Bold Baylee) aka Old Chook, was named after Bailey's Irish Cream because she is black and tan. I had decided on this name way before she was born (she was supposed to be a he), much to her breeder's horror, hence the unusual spelling of her name. I think it is a great compromise.

Dee (Rottisliebe Devil by Design) was originally named DeeDee, but the OH hated it as it sounded like the radio personnality, so she got abbreviated to Dee. We just could not think of another call name for her that began with D.

Zephyr (Rottisliebe Eleventh Hour) better known as Zeph was actually named by the local vet nurse who was present during the whelping. His name means gentle westerly wind, which is rather appropriate considering he was conceived in the week after the 2009 fires, he now lives in Kinglake and the westerly change was anything but gentle on the Saturday. He came to us for some socialising at the age of 4 months supposably for a week and never left. I guess some things are just meant to be. :D
