Lhok
Gorgeous photos, however I couldn't help thinking that wouldn't it be funny if a wash from a boat came along and dunked you or tank's other dad  --Lhok
smashtank
Thanks guys! @Lhok - it is pretty calm down at Bird & Bear (the cafe) so thankfully no risk of wash - although we do keep an eye out whenever we're on the boat ramp!

Nekhbet
I don't think Michael Ellis is saying that training a motivational out causes those problem, if you are experiencing the above issues that is a problem with how you are playing the game and how you are motivating (or demotivating) the dog, not simply because you asked the dog to out. In reply to lolli's comment, yes outing a pup too early can create dissatisfaction in the game. It's got nothing to do with a motivational out which is the correct way if you want a rock solid out when the dog is in high drive, but everything with outing too early when the dog is tugging. Saying that her window of tugging is about to be cut short anyway with teething coming up, no tugging at all during that period or you really create problems. A few pages back. We went a bit off topic and it's referring to teaching puppies to tug and let go. Wish I never brought it up now really. Sorry for the off topic guys! LisaCC
Ah great thank you :) Speaking of teething, I am currently feeling super sorry for all the teething pups, as my wisdom tooth (thats been annoying me for a few days now) just decided to break through the skin about 15 minutes ago. No tugging for me
Zereuloh
I have teething baby and will be entering teething puppy stage soon lol I think i'll need to bath Tyrion he has been rolling in something and stinks. lol tips for bathing in winter? Drying just with hair dryer?
aliwake
I tried the hairdryer on Nixon but he didn't like it at all.... We just bath him in the shower, with the heaters on in the bathroom and dry him as much as we can with microfibre towels (they absorb heaps of water), and then make him lie down in front of the aircon (on heat). I don't think he'd dry without the aircon running - it sucks the moisture out of everything... Hopefully Tyrion won't mind your hairdryer - it would be much easier!
