Guest RosieFT
Sorry cant search old topics. On phone on way home from holiday with rosie. First time ever I can see fleas on her. She has had wonderful bush holiday. We stopping in at better pets in 20 mins on way home. Which product fir fleas I can see? She has sentinel monthly, which I believe breaks breeding cycle. Her Majesty Dogmad
I use Capstar to kill the fleas on new dogs I get but it only works for 24 hours. Advantage is good and works for a month!
Guest RosieFT
Thank you Dogmad - i have passed that onto my father, his bichon was on the same holiday as us and so we can safely assume she has fleas too! She is not on Sentinel though. If i keep seeing fleas on Rosie, i will go buy advantage. Our solar hot water system was dumping its hot water when we got home, and Rosie ran straight out and got her back paws in a puddle of hot water before we even realised. I have had her standing in cold water for 20 minutes, and they don't look inflamed or blistered but they are bothering her as she keeps licking them . She is on pain killers/anti inflammatory for her front leg so hopefully that will help her. ugh. Will go put her back in the cool water now and keep a close eye on it.
