Sagittarian
Looking for an easy to understand article or information on this, or just a link to a good place to look. I'd rather get a recommended site from someone with some experience in this area than just google and maybe miss a better source. Thanks! Sags :)
Dame Aussie
The most detailed list of medications to avoid etc I've seen is here: http://www.busteralert.org/ There could be a better site but this is the best one I've found so far :)
karly101
I gave my vet this list which is also linked on the above website - http://www.vetmed.wsu.edu/depts-VCPL/drugs.aspx
Shelby
You may also find something on Dr Jean Dodd's site - am sure she discussed it when she was out here. There are also tests available for certain breeds too.

Sagittarian
I gave my vet this list which is also linked on the above website - http://www.vetmed.wsu.edu/depts-VCPL/drugs.aspx I've just had time to give this and the Buster link a quick read. As both are US sites, can anyone shed light on whether Australian experts are in agreement that all monthly heartworm treatments - if used at correct dosages - are okay to use with mutant dogs? Unless I am completely reading it wrong! Thanks in advance, Phillipa
