helen
I saw an article in the Geelong Advertiser today about a charity called Pet Medical Crisis Fund and thought I would share, especially since Pacers is no longer in operation. I could not find the story on paper's website, but it was to get donations to this charity: http://www.petmedicalcrisisfund.com.au/donations.shtml The story was about a dog who broke it's leg in three pacers on the weekend. The owner is a single mother who could not afford the $2000 vet bill, so the charity stepped in. The lady has a three year old daughter who is autistic and the dog really brings her out of her shell. She was facing having the dog put to sleep until she was put in touch with this charity, a good place to support for dog lovers.

helen
no problems. Looks like this one requires a generous vet too who will offer help at cost
