Cazstaff
oh Jimmay this is so terribly sad, please pass my condolences onto your friends. How I wish something could be done about it, I want to see big consequences for those that kill our pets through carelessness. ozziemom
I dropped my handsome old GR Buddy off to the groomers this morning for a bath and groom, I hugged and kissed him, told him to enjoy his pampering and that Id be back for him soon. God how I wish I could go back and not leave him  About 3 hours later he was dead, they had put him up on a table with a choker chain and left him unattended long enough for him to fall off and strangle to death....Im devestated that my precious darling boy was treated so carelessly as to cost him his life. I cant stop going over what a terrible death it would have been for him and I wasn't with him  They took him to the vet next door when they found him hanging and the vets tried to bring him back but he was too far gone. I brought him home and Pets at Peace will pick him up in the morning. It doesnt seem real.a@k Im so shattered, I can't stop sobbing but Im also as mad as hell and feel that something should be done about it. Its not a random accident it was straight up negligence :mad Any suggestions on what I can do if anything would be appreciated. I don't want this to happen to any other beloved pet. RIP my precious Buddy, Im so very sorry

mumof4girls
Jimmay can you pm me the name of this place I too live in Brisbane and have friends that use groomers.. I'm so sorry for the owners loss :-( Hi guys. I've come in here to report yet another dog has lost their life because of a negligent groomer. A facebook friend of mine just lost their young french bulldog, this is what the post said: "It's been tough & we're going to miss our best friend. He was at daycare & getting groomed. She put a muzzle on him because he was mouthing her & it restricted his breathing, he suffocated." How can this stuff keep happening?? Horrendous! What state was this please? Brisbane, Queensland. How terrible A muzzle on a frenchie, I can't even imagine who would think that's a good idea, or how they could not notice the poor thing was struggling to breathe? Was it a pup? :edit: Sorry, he was two. Thanks for that huga. Way too young to go.

Grooming Arms are not the problem, irresponsible actions by individuals who left a dog unattended is the problem.

Jimmay
Sorry guys, the owners were asked what groomer it was but they didn't respond. I don't really want to push the matter when they're grieving. Edited to add: It was a doggy daycare that had grooming services, if that helps. Rosetta
mmm there are quite a few that do both. Do you think it was on the northside or southside? A worry that they have daycare as well when they are obviously so clueless
