honeybun
Mine are most often human names.Always take a lot of time to finally decide, and think about others , like the vet calling them by their name, so cant bring myself to be too cute or inventive, or me calling them ,if a dog whilst out walking. We have had a recent addition of a kitten we named Noah. We still have a Gus ...cat. Our others have been : DOGS Honey Kate Ebony Patrick Missy Rusty CATS Kate CJ April Maggie C Zef [Zane Earl Felix] Oscar Cleo Lucy Jazz [Jasmine] Mambo BIRDS Mac Syd Hamish Always think people are so clever and inventive, but guess we are too staid and predicatable. Dory the Doted One
Best pet name EVER..... When my niece was still a wee thing, not quite kinder age, my sister bought a Hermit Crab. Well niece could not say HerMIT crab, she could only say Herman Crab. She called her crab Townie. Sounds pretty boring, right? Till you understand that this was his nickname, his real name was Herman Crab From Out of Town. Because he was bought from a shop in the next down over from where they lived. And she thought of it all herself. :) To more boring stuff... We have Dory...pictured. (Actually...Dory has a middle name...it's Abigail...I have no idea why) Oscar the Shark Slay (aka Oscar, Fatboy, Poo Head and Painful) and new addition Bungee Bin Cat Panther Pants. (aka Bungee, Kitten and Feral)
westiemum
A friend I worked with in the 90's had a cat called ''Mark'. I loved it so when I got a cat in 2006 I named him Mark too - Russian Blue cross and it really suited him - or so I thought. Other people thought it was a bit strange - yet I still love it! :)
westiemum
My last and littlest Westie had a terrible name from the puppy farm which he didn't know anyway - so I changed it to 'Andy'. ANDREW!!!!! When I'm cross with him...

seld
We named our dog Fergus, after Massey Ferguson tractors. He's built like a tractor and their website states " top performance, reliability, comfort and uncompromising quality". Sounded like him!
