Favourite Dog Colour?

So obviously a good dog is never a bad colour...but that being said, what is your favourite colour?

I love blue brindle and sable the best, but I have only owned one sable and no blue brindles at all.

Black, white or black and white.

So I have Maremmas, a black brindle (black with two brindle hairs) Stafford, with a white chest, and a black Pug. :D

I don't think I have a favourite colour, depends on the dog.

On short/smooth coated dogs I prefer blue brindle or tiger brindle.

On long haired dogs my favourite is any shade of red to fawn with black tips.

Chocolate is by far my most favourtie colour for a dog.

I love the dark chocolates in the BC's, but also like the black tri's & would die for a sable. I don't like the merles, but it's really not the colour that matters, it's the dog inside it & I have met some lovely merles...just don't like the colour.

Parti colour, all my boys (4 greyhounds) have been parti colour. My girl is red though. The darker the better when I had GSD's.

It's so hard to pick a favourite with tibbies. All solid colours & partis are acceptable. All of our own girls have been gold.... but even then the shading of the golds are different. One was platinum blonde & another is reddish gold.

I think every colour Cavaliers produce are beautiful, but my personal fav colour is the Tri Colour (Black, tan and White), which we are getting one in about 6 weeks time !

I don't think I have a favourite colour, depends on the dog.

That was my immediate reaction to the question.

One of my dogs is a Finnish Spitz cross who has a brilliant red coat. He is the one who gets the most attention when we are out walking.

Silver! There's something special about silver poodles and other "silvery" coloured dogs like Weims.

I also love blue brindled dogs, but don't really see many.

Umm yep I know what you are saying, except for me it's the cats that are like that!

I depends on the breed for me.

In Whippets, parti's, fawns, black and Whites, blue & fawn brindles.

Borders Collies Black and White

Kelpies - Black and Tan

Dobes - Black and Tan

Boxers - Red and White

Having bred three sables, yes they are beautiful. Pity they are not recognised here in Australia. Fortunately though, no more as Mia has now been desexed.

Love a good dark red/white. Not the wishy washy cream dogs.
