Gretel
I have a Cavalier back at the moment to get some weight off her. She is very overweight and has been diagnosed as having a collapsed disc. I am keeping her fairly quiet and dieting her. Would any of the supplements be helpful for her back? TIA :)

Gretel
Poor girl. Is she on anti inflammatories or other medication? She was on Metacam and Vallium but the owner said the vet told her she could go off them.
persephone
Robert McDowell herbal have an anti inflam/painkiller which doesn't taste too bad .. I have used it for horse and human :) If you speak with them, they may tailor the mix to help with other problems with which this dog is dealing. CavsRcute
I use Traumeel for Lani. It's a homeopathic anti inflammatory and appears to be good for her. Maybe even book an appointment or phone Helen Nicholson the canine physio. She is very knowledgable and helpful. Has the dog had any X-rays? If so she would be interested in them Let me know if you need her number A chiropractic vet also told me that evening primrose oil was good for anything to do with bones Good luck

Gretel
Yes we are working on the weight. Her owner reckons she's been on a diet for 6 months and lost nothing. That's why she's here at 'fat camp'
