keetamouse Posted December 23, 2012 Share Posted December 23, 2012 I just wanted to wish all on DOL a very merry and safe Christmas, whether you rescue, transport, temp care, whatever your involvement, this is the time to thank each and every one of us for what we have all achieved in the last 12 months, we can be proud of what we have done and the many animals that we have saved so they could go on and live the lives that they deserve to lead, with families that love them and keep them safe for the rest of their lives. I am off to Hobart later today for 6 days to spend with my brother and his extended family, I am staying at Wrest Point (just quietly my kennel bill is higher that my accommodation)where I get to see the yachts coming in from the Sydney to Hobart race, I absolutely love Hobart and if not for my rescue I would be living there. Tell us where you are going for chrissy and I do hope you have a good one and can enjoy it with your "babies" the furry ones as well as the human ones. I will no longer be fostering as Dimples is an FF and now named Tempeh so we can't take anymore pei on but I will continue to support Peiradise actively up here in QLD and support you guys in spirit here on the threads. It'd be the same for me if I ever wanted to go away, it'd cost way more to board all my dogs than it would the holiday! :laugh: We're staying home for Xmas. I not only have my own 11 dogs (includ. rescues) to look after this Xmas, but I am dogsitting the neighbours 3 dogs for a week too! I feel sorry for them being home alone at Xmas so bought them some toys for Xmas day and baked them some dog biscuits. I'll also take Jack over to have a play with them.
