These are great. How about Homes for Hounds although there is one in the US so would that be a problem when we went forward for our non profit status? Or does it seem like we would rescue all hounds?

No I don't think so. Friends Of The Hound are a greyhound rescue here in NSW.

Thats good, do you think the Homes for Hounds is too close to the one in NSW I dont want any one upset thinking we are ripping them off.

I do like On The Right Track Rescue but would that be a mouthful?

Anymore suggestions? You guys have been great

I think when you add rescue to things it makes it more then what it is.

Example: Homes for Hounds is short and sweet. Homes For Hounds Rescue, it starts to sound like too much.

I would go for Homes For Hounds, with "On The Right Track" as your slogan. :)

EDIT: "Second Sight" is catchy. With "Second" referring to the second chance and "Sight" being Sighthound. Though it may be too obscure unless you know what it is!

I think greyhound rescues are as much about public education of what makes these dogs great companion pets. Which is why I like the full name of the breed getting the emphasis in any rescue title.

And also avoiding anything that refers to speed and racing.... because people think it means they're high energy pets needing a lot of exercise. That's what I used to think. Couldn't be further from the truth, after I met them in real life. Our neighbours' greyhounds are couch potatoes, liking a stroll once a day... calmest, easiest to own dogs, I know,
