Staffyluv
I have reached my limit of uploads this month with Flickr. The free version. Apparently I can pay about $7 a quarter for Flickr pro and get unlimited uploads.. Does anyone else think this is a good idea or just a waste of money? I back up all my photos onto an external hard drive but the more I think about it, having Flickr as a place to keep all my pics is not a bad idea.. Cheers and TIA
tlc
I know a few here use and pay for Flickr. I started to but went back to photobucket, I just find it easier.
persephone
I've been 'pro' for years ..... it's your decision :) I only ever upload low res images , so do not use it for storage .

huga
I think I pay $25 a year. Nothing, really - and it's super convenient.
Staffyluv
I think I pay $25 a year. Nothing, really - and it's super convenient. That's what I was thinking... More so now because I am taking more photos and a friend complained a couple of weeks ago that her external hard drive stopped working and she had to get professional help to retrieve all her photos.. Lucky it was all salvageable...
Kirislin
I pay in 2 or 3 year blocks, I cant remember which now but I've found it's worth it. Doesn't cost alot.
Staffyluv
I agree, I think the cost is minimal. I would hat ego lose all of my photos.
Ping
I actually paid for 3 months, just now. It is convenient and PB seems to ruin my photos. But that could just be because I'm a numpty. :
Staffyluv
I signed up today as well. Bought the 12 month membership.. It was only $24.95US.. I think I will spend a lot of time over the Christmas close down sorting all my images into categories and years so they are easier to find. I have so many that I will never use for anything, so it is a good opportunity to have a clear out.
