Tassie
You could try Croydon Croydon Obedience. Or maybe try PMing JulesP - she might have some ideas.
The Spotted Devil
I'm at Croydon - they are finishing up for the year but the website should give you an idea of when they start again. I'll be running a 4 week Puppy Games class (up to 6 months old) in February at Croydon Obedience Club (provided I get back from overseas in time!!!) It's not a tricks or socialisation class - but teaching focus and self-control for the puppies and shaping/positive reinforcement techniques for the handlers. Great preparation for dog sports, in particular, but also suitable for the average pet owner as long as they don't mind putting in the effort! Spotted Devil Let me now if you do your class! We getting our GSP puppy on Monday so she would still fit in. Mm maybe I go to the vet to puppy class ( with the last puppy it was very crowded in a little place ) I found a private Lady she was excellent but she stopt doing it . The Spotted Devil
I'm pretty sure the vet clinic at Mt Dandenong runs good puppy classes: http://www.drvet.com.au/about-us/history/

It's hard to find a night that suits so we might even consider a 4 week course on a Sunday. Keep an eye on the newsletter!

The pre-puppy class at Croydon only has a very short break over Xmas as lots of people get puppies, so give them a call. They are still training at the moment. Apart from Croydon you have Knox and Berwick obedience clubs. There are some private clubs around Ringwood too.
