thomo84
Hello, We have slot of white flies in our backyard, we have tried home remedies but didn't work. We are looking for something that is dog/pet friendly. If anyone knows of something please post the details. Thank you
zeebie
There are quite a few essential oils which are safe to use as natural repellents for animals, the best ones known to repel flies are peppermint oil/Lavender oil/lemongrass oil/citronells - this one is not liked by dogs so some dogs may become irritated by the scent. Best way is to tie a small peice of cotton fabric in couple places to collar and then add drops to this as needed do not put on dogs skin. I use advantix on my dog and nothing seems to come anywhere near him.
