Jood
Hi there, I met a woman in the street today with a large male whippet of very calm and friendly temperament who said she bought the dog from 'Whippet Haven' in Ballarat. She thought the name of the breeder was Lisa or Liza and that she might have been Swedish, but she wasn't certain of any of those things. We are thinking of buying a whippet next time around (we currently have an ageing Stafford) and I'm getting the ball rolling on the research. I was so impressed with the 'type' of her whippet and its temperament that I was interested in chasing up the breeder, but nothing comes up on line. Any ideas anyone? Cheers. Nekhbet
I think she's a backyard breeder, I have PMd you the link I found for her had a bit more of a dig, she's a horse breeder and none of her whippets have papers she just breeds them on the farm too. Find yourself a new breeder with papers Edited November 19, 2012 by Nekhbet
Salukifan
Friendly male whippet pups from registered breeders aren't difficult to find. Contact the Whippet club of Victoria or take a look at litters advertised here. Beauroi and Taejaan would be ones I'd recommend :) Edited November 20, 2012 by Haredown Whippets
Juddabug Whippets
I second the recommendation of Taejaan pups... I have three and they have fantastic temperaments!
