MissMedusa
Hi Labraork...I have a 2 year old lab and have recently invested in a Sporn halter and love it. We both relax and enjoy our daily walks now. If it works fou you and your lab, that's great. Don't worry about what other people think :-)
Aphelion
I'd like to try this, because my boy doesn't like a halter on his head. He's pretty good and mostly I walk him with a flat collar, but he only needs to have one bouncy moment to make things really difficult, he outweighs me by a fair bit. The mesh sporn specifies up to 100 pounds, but the original sporn halter in XL only says neck size and "over 90 pounds". My boy is over 150 pounds, so I wonder if it's big enough and worth trying. It wouldn't hurt to email the company. They might be able to recommend something. A link to their website is on a couple of my posts in this thread. I was probably avoiding it because I don't really need to spend more money right now, but why not! :D

You can get them online for around $20, but at the vets they're more like $30. That's where I got mine.
