Google dogstardaily and get the free Ian Dunbar ebooks "Before you get your puppy" and "After you get your puppy" (i think that's their titles!), good place to start. She's doing well, but boy does she resist! Stubborn doesn't quite cut it. My husband is stubborn, melody is on a whole other level lol! Lucky she is cute and we love her to bits. Aphra Posted November 6, 2012 Share Posted November 6, 2012 I like "Perfect Puppy in 7 Days" by Sophia Yin (not least because it has an adorable cattle dog on the cover), "The Puppy Primer" by Patricia McConnell and for those more difficult canines, "When Pigs Fly! Training Success with Impossible Dogs" by Jane Killion. And yes to the Ian Dunbar books and Dog Star Daily in general, a terrific resource.
