Cat
Has anyone tried Aperture (the Apple photo editing program)?
tlc
I tried it but being so set in my ways I soon went back to Lightroom. I'd be interested to hear others views.
Cat
Me too. I had a look at a photography forum and it was pretty much half and half bout which was better - Aperture or Lightroom. I am curious as to what Dolers think though. I use iPhoto to store photos (which i think also has the best red eye reduction of any program I have used) so i dont think the transition would be hard. But I do like some of the things Lightroom does and wonder how they compare. Aperture is a whole lot cheaper too.
tlc
I used iphoto a bit till I found out that uploading photos to facebook then deleting them from iphoto also deletes them from facebook, I didn't realize it syncs with facebook, silly me! I only use iphoto now to upload stuff to photobucket. I love love love lightroom, and only use photoshop occasionally.
Cat
i dont have that problem as I never delete photos. probably why my computer runs so slow. I do have Lightroom 2 but would like to be able to do more. I had tried a trial version of Photoshop but it confused me too much. I would like to get Photoshop Elements again though as I had had that on my PC and liked it.
