HazyWal
Friends of mine are looking for a dog friendly place to stay around Canberra for a few nights. They have their beloved Molly ( chiX ) travelling with them so it is essential to stay somewhere where Molly is allowed inside. Can anyone recommend somewhere? TIA :)
Gemelo
We recently stayed in the Grand Manor Motor Inn in Queanbeyan. Room was clean and the people were lovely :) Its about 15-20 minutes from Canberra if I recall correctly.
HazyWal
Thanks for the reply Gemelo but it says nothing about being dog friendly.

minimax
Grand manor is dog friendly, I've stayed there. Mostly in Canberra I stay at the Belconnon Way Motel, it's pet friendly and cheap, plus really decent for cheap accommodation.
TigerJack
Thanks for the reply Gemelo but it says nothing about being dog friendly. It is dog friendly. I have lots of friends who stay there when the Canberra Royal is on. They've even had the hotel owner kick the people out of the pool so that the dogs can have a swim! espinay2
The Mercure (formerly Olims in Ainslie) allows pets and is fairly pet friendly. They offer 'pet packages'. My sister has stayed there with her dog. From what I recall the pet friendly rooms have a courtyard as well. http://www.mercureca...m.au/index.html Very well located on Limestone Ave and a short walk to the CBD. It's the normal room rate + 60 per pet, per night!
W Sibs
I've stayed here with my 3. It's a lovely place but the owner lives there too. She set the back house to a guest house. But there is a private garden for the dogs :D http://www.takeabreak.com.au/Gungahlin/CanberraandSurrounds/Tea-Gardens-Bed-and-Breakfast.htm Edited October 15, 2012 by W Sibs
