Staffyluv
Would the Canberra/Quangers DOLers like to catch up for a lunch or dinner before Christmas? We could do a doggie day picnic or we could do a human lunch or dinner somewhere.. Let me know if you are interested and available dates (cause we all get busy around this time of year) and we will work it out..
Vehs
I'll see how D behaves at his birthday party ;-) I am usually flat out minding dogs that time of year, but I'm sure I can fit something in lunchtime wise
Staffyluv
It is a busy time, maybe a human only lunch would be better. At the usual Calibre cause it is pretty central fro most of us..
ChiggenWingz
Yep I'll be up for it. Also I got a new puppy :D
MarkF
I would love to attend but with dogs, as its my puppy that needs more socialising than I do
Staffyluv
There are a few DOLers who go out to the Casey dog park on the weekends.. If you want to socialise dogs.. Check out the Canberra meet up thread in this section... As for the Christmas get together, we might know more after this weekend and D's birthday party.. Will keep everyone posted.. Hopefully we can sort something out that works for everyone.
koalathebear
Hullo - we are usually at Casey every week at 10 am with our two dogs - they are very friendly with all dogs. Well we don't go if the weather is disgusting but are always there otherwise :) Dogs at that hour always seem very nice - owners, too. Lando's Mum and Lando used to come but she has vanished ... chiggenwingz: cute! Kelpie? :) Is she a rescue? Have you heard any news on Diesel? I've messaged farmdogz but got zero response ... Cleo's Corgwyn
Would love to come, but my attendance will be dependent on the new puppy, who should be coming home the last week of November. So by mid December, he should be fully vaccinated and OK to meet other dogs. Before that, it will be quick visits with Shandy, while her baby brother stays at home. Staffyluv
Well we will need to make it after the puppy is fully vaccinated... We don't want to miss out in meeting him.

Staffyluv
We a doggie birthday party out at the cotter a couple of weeks ago and it was really nice.. We could catch up there or maybe even tha park behind the Griffith shops (not off lead but an on lead would be OK).. Yarralumla dog park is a really nice place to let the dogs have a run.. I haven't been there but the dog park at Casey is supposed to be nice as well. Or we could maybe do just a people lunch somewhere central, like Woden... Does anyone have a preference?
