Throwing Dinner Up Right After Eating It..

This has happened a few times now (not regular).

Zig had eaten his dinner and within minutes throws the whole lot back up..

Tonight it was still in the chunks of meat that was fed... It basically looked like his dinner but on the mat, instead of in his bowl.. Nothing else in it that I could tell..

Could it be that he has just eaten it to fast?

He seems well otherwise, no temp, not flat... He eats raw meat for dinner, tonight was roo...

Chester had this too but his was the dry food was compacting in his stomach.

It could be that your boy is scarfing his food down.

Thanks that is what I thought as its not a regular thing and it doesn't seem to be related to any particular food..

I might just give him a bit of dinner early and some more later to slow hi down..

He is not usually a pig with food but I guess he must have been extra hungry tonight.

My borzoi Nikita will do this on a very rare occasion, usually if what she has eaten is too cold for her stomach. Bones and meals are now served at room temp or slightly warmer, and it seems to have fixed the problem.

I was in a hurry tonight and forgot to take it out of the fridge for a bit before I gave it to him..

Now I think about it, every time he has done this his dinner has come straight out of the fridge..

However he eats frozen turkey necks...

He seems fine now but I will let him be until morning and he can have a good breaky.
