CrazyCresties
I know there's not a huge amount of Tamron love on this board  but a couple of nice looking lenses have just been announced from Tamron. It'll be interesting to see how the 70-200mm f2.8 VC stacks up against the Sigma and Canon versions :) I might also be tempted by the macro for the USD, as this is something that I often wish for on my 60mm version. "The most compact full-size, high-speed telephoto zoom lens, delivering leading-edge image quality with Tamron’s proprietary VC (Vibration Compensation) and USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive). - SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD (Model A009)" http://www.tamron.com/en/news/2012/0913_01.html "Tamron announces the redesign of their legendary 90mm Macro lens, equipped with VC (Vibration Compensation) and USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) - SP 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 VC USD (Model F004)" http://www.tamron.com/en/news/2012/0913_02.html
PossumCorner
The 90 macro is a good lens, I have one that I bought on so much recommendation. So the new release should be as good if not better. I also have a Sigma 150 macro - equally happy with both of them, the Tamron is a Sony attach for the A55, the Sigma is Nikon attach for the Nikon(s). Impatiens
I've got the 60mm too, CC. I think the macro Tamrons have always had a pretty good name. I do like the look of the new 90mm, although I don't know if the VC is much use close up but it must help a bit! :)
