MavericksMission
Wow, just wow. We had an 11 year old mum with her 7 puppies surrendered over to us last year and thought that was bad, but 15! Poor old girl Thank you for taking her and her bubbas on, at least they are all in safe hands now!
melzawelza
How horriffic! Poor, poor lady :mad At least the new owners will know that the pups have come from an incredibly healthy and robust mum!

k9angel
Poor old girl, I wonder how many pups she has had in those 15 years... Glad to hear she and bubs are all safe now. :)
Guest Ams
They aren't roly poly puppies. If they were they would have been sold reasonably easy. They are tang style (look at Christina in my petrescue dogs). One is not pure so she has more than one male on her property.
Little Gifts
You know what made me sad about this last night? Her owner gave up a 15 year old dog! I can understand 10 week old pups you can no longer care for but an old adult dog who I am assuming she has had for a while? How? Why? No point speculating I guess - at least they are all safe now and will go on to amazing homes. This is your legacy Ams whether you like it, wanted it or not. You are responsible for saving lives and giving hope and we love you for it! (yes I'm having a mushy day)
mita
Thank dog they got to you Ams! I think people who have 'interesting' guests in the bathroom are tops.

Guest Ams
They are in very good condition. No photos of mum just yet. She is still freaked when I go into the pen. I did get get some pats in last night and got to tuck her into bed but then had to pull out my charm again today for a repeat performance. She is very stressed at the moment and I think a camera in her face may be just a little too much for her. eta She is in good condition too but is causing herself some injuries as she tries to get out. Cheyd
thats so sad for mum but I am sure she will settle down in a couple of days, especially once she knows how good it can be at Ams after all it is peiradise!
Guest Ams
Part of her stress is she can hear the puppies in the house but I just can't take the risk of putting them with her as they need socialisation and if she starts guarding them it disadvantages them all. It breaks my heart listening to her and I've spent a fair bit of time sitting on cold concrete talking to her to calm her down.
Cheyd
I feel your pain, we were up until almost 3am this morning waiting for two new rescues to settle in the bathroom and laundry - not fun but at least I wasnt sitting on cold concrete at the time
k9angel
Aww they're adorable. I am sure they'll find homes in no time once they are ready. Poor Mum though. Hope she settles soon & finds the happy ending she deserves.
tdierikx
They are gorgeous pups - even if they are not as roly-poly as pure Peis... *grin* I hope mum dog comes around soon to your love and care. T.
Guest Ams
Two of them are "pure" tang dogs. Just the girl does not seem pure her colour and head shape is wrong. Mum broke my heart last night. She was barking her head off so I went up and dragged an old mattress into the pen. I lay on it and she came up and snuggled in. Slowly I was able to put rugs over her until she stopped shaking and then she let me get up and go to bed. Had to do it twice more when she'd get up for a widdle and couldn't wrap herself back in her blankies.
