Steph M
It wasn't to be rehomed, it was some dingbat advertising their purebred, but not papered spitz dog had reached 'that age' and was hassling their female chihuahua so they were looking for a female friend to pair him with to let him do his thing and give her a rest. If it were to be rehomed that's one thing, but siring litters of unnecessary puppies is more of a shame, in my opinion.

It was a Jap Spitz (unpapered) Looking for love. I told them in no uncertain terms to get their dog desexed.
JulesP
Sending rude, drunken emails is not the way to educate anyone about anything.
mixeduppup
I was slightly drunk which gave me the courage to do it. It wasn't rude, just to the point. My sister got the email from the this morning. "Thanks, we're rethinking it"
mixeduppup
I sent them links to dogs in PR that were Jap Spitz or similar, dogs in pounds, gave them statistics and told them why. I didn't abuse them. Just simply said that there's a good chance most of their dog's progeny would end up in the pound.

My idea of abrupt and rude isn't anyone else's, i showed a few people the email and they're like "You're so nice, you can't be rude lol" So I guess it wasn't. Guest lavendergirl
MUP - advertising dogs for stud or "looking for a friend to have puppies" type ads will be pulled by Gumtree if you report the ad - it is against their guidelines. Just click on the ad and press the "report this ad" button - it will disappear without any need for emails etc.

From now on I will be the gumtree vigilante lol
