mita
Have a look at the Dogzonline Purebred Community page where registered Cav breeders list the adult dogs they want to place in pet homes. I notice 1 current listing is in Victoria. http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/mature/cavalier-king-charles-spaniel.asp

mita
I guess you want a meet and greet with any new Cav which is why you've specified Victoria. Though I'm in Q'ld, the adult tibetan spaniels I've adopted have come from NSW... and fortunately fitted in well with the resident tibbie. But interstate adoption is an individual choice. Her Majesty Dogmad
Do you ever drive to Sydney or would you consider it? Save Our Strays have a number of Cavvies right now. They recently had someone drive from VIC to meet their Cresties, it's well worth it when you will have the dog for years to come and you just can't find one locally. mita
Dogmad, I notice the Cavs at SOS are bonded pairs they want to rehome together. They also seem very gentle girls that need quiet homes.
Her Majesty Dogmad
Trouble is, the Cavvies keep coming! PAWS also regularly gets them and a pounds in Sydney too. There are also some good breeders in NSW.
sunny daze
sorry should this be in the general dog rescue section as opposed to the urgent rescue section for dogs in urgent need
Missmizzi
I would go interstate but hard when working and having kids.
keetamouse
sorry should this be in the general dog rescue section as opposed to the urgent rescue section for dogs in urgent need Can this be moved as requested above, it is in the wrong section and you may get more people able to help. Raelene
Hi, is a 10yo tri male cavvy too old? He is apparently still sprightly and a sweetie. He is looking for a home ASAP. Needy due to breakup and being unable to find dog friendly accommodation. Located ACT area. I also have an older lady looking for one but wants around the 5-6 yrs.
