wuffles
Oh, just thought I'd add, the dogs can stick their heads through the edges of the WalkyGuard which isn't desirable. I discouraged it but they still did it.

Esky the husky
Umm... What's wrong with a Getz?! Look how happy he is.  I used to do that in my swift. People thought I was mental. Those set ups look really cool lollipup. Part of me wants to do up my hilux like that, but I hesitate because I worry about my ute not being multi purpose anymore
RubyBlue
yeah the $120 does have largish openings the new one is only recommended for small-medium sized dogs but seems to have smaller gaps Dandybrush I have the supercheap auto $120 barrier in a Subaru outback. It fits with modification. I cut the top off of the vertical supports. The only problem is that because of the angle of the backseats in a suby you lose some space in the boot. Its effective at keeping the dogs in the boot and I have one who would have really tested it and has broken though several others. I got it as a temporary measure until I can afford puppybars. So far I recon I've got my money out of it.
Lollipup
my husband is going to build one. I'm planning on a few cages then an area for gear. Then later we can put on a roof top tent. So still very multi purpose :)

Horsegal98
Interesting thread, I love all the nifty setups. I have 5 children and a pram in my wagon, so there is no room to swing a cat, let alone fit a crate.

Lollipup
I'm researching vans now. Does anyone have much experience with the VW caddy? I really like the Mercedes Vitos but they are out of my price range. A Caddy fits the budget but I've heard they are really expensive to fix when they have issues??
