Shows are the only place they would get this so it was always special. Had to watch one little girl I had - she would bait for ages on a piece of chicken but if she thought it was taking too long then she would grab - resulted in a few bloody fingers lol. Our Labs love Nutri Grain as bait.... but the clumber doesn really go for much bait... she will outside the ring but loses interest in the ring... I have seriously thought about just taking in a chip packet, she can hear you opening a packet of them from a mile away and will come running and stand nicely in hope.
