Obedience Training In Or Near Rutherford Nsw

Hey Guys I have a friend with a 19 month old GSD who lives in Rutherford NSW and is looking for recommendations for an Obedience club nearby. She is not interested in trialling, just wants a well behaved family member.

I am not at all familiar with NSW so I got her permission to ask here on DOL as I am sure DOLers could come up with some suggestions.

Maitland Dog club - Trains at the show grounds in maitland where they hold the markets on a saturday morning I think. Tried it once and wasn't impressed but it would be fine for basic obedience

Not to be confused with Maitland Dog Obedience Club which trains at Largs Oval on Sunday mornings, 8.30am. Their website is here My link. Beginners enrolment is held on the 1st Sunday of every month.

Another option is Telarah Dog Training who train at Maitland No. 2 Sportsground adjacent to Smyth Field in Maitland Saturday mornings. Toy/food reward based positive reinforcement club. No check chains allowed. Clickers encouraged. On Facebook or Telarah Dog Training website
