nickiera Posted August 14, 2012 Share Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) Hi Could you please help me .My butiffull 3 1/2 year old boy died from the ilness which I have never hear of .His immune system turned agains him.Than he develop pancreatis and twisted stomech.The Vet.Informed as ,that the Standard Poodles are prone to this .We dearly miss him,how ever ,in his short life he teache as to love standard poodles.Could you please let me know ,how could I purchase a new puppy with out the geens for this illness Thank you ,kind regards Dagmar Edited August 14, 2012 by nickiera Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had a Dane with IM polyarthritis who developed pancreatitis and IMHA was also found. Was your dog on cortisone?
