Guest Augustine The Boxer
I thought that those of you that feed chicken products to your dogs may be interested in this Australian chart that demonstrates the difference. What amused me is the wording in chicken industry marketing. For example, it suggests that the cheapest "Chemical Free" chickens are not processed with chlorine, however "Free Range" chickens are. Also, it suggests that all types of chicken are and have been "Hormone Free" since the 60's, but "Growth Promotants" are not banned in chickens except for the organic ones. I can definitely spot the difference in my dogs when I have given them non-organic chicken but it also comes down to budget as organic chicken carcass for example can range up to more than 6 times the price.
